Mean what you say and say what you mean!

I am amidst a great overhaul in life and I’m sure many of you can relate, so I want to write about this topic and how it may relate to your performance.

One of my favourite quotes to live by goes like this – You don’t have to be a rock star to start. You do however, have to start in order to become a rock star. Yeah, you can quote me on that.

But really, when you are navigating through the reeds and bogs of the swamp of life with only a pair of gum rubber boots and a broken limb of a tree in your hand as your companions – realize that with persistence you will get through to the other side. I have learned three things I would like to pass along to you from my experiences this week.

  1. It doesn’t matter it’s in the past. Learn from your experience and you’ll be better off with more experiences under your belt. Know that your reaction to a situation will in fact determine the outcome of that situation. So, be mindful of that.
  2. Put the effort in behind the intention that you seek and good things will come your way. Especially if you’re having fun. Success follows happy people. Keep smiling, you beautiful people! Don’t make the mistake of just thinking about it though. That’s just the first step. Now deliver.
  3. Mean what you say and say what you mean. For those that don’t know, can’t help your whole scene. Live with intent and kind of like my boy, Dr. Seuss would say (and I’m paraphrasing of course) the people that matter will stick it out with you.

Think about how you may be able to apply any or all of these lessons in your week this week. Please follow my week long nutrition challenge on my youtube channel and share with someone that you’d like to motivate to better themselves this week!

Happy Monday!
